Locus Publishing has long been known for its award-winning publications and for introducing beloved authors such as the illustrator Jimmy Liao to the world. In 2009, Locus will launch its American publishing house with the release of a Chinese learning program for the 21st-century, as well as new works of cultural history, spirituality and graphic novels. Locus has offices in Taipei, Beijing and New York.

Locus Publishing has been recognized as one of the most creative and cosmopolitan publishing houses working in Chinese, and has been acclaimed for its multiple imprints and award-winning releases, including serious literature, works on religion and sexuality, and illustrated books.
